Top Ten Tuesday Fall Book List

It's Top Ten Tuesday!!!! This top ten Tuesday is your top ten books to read this Fall. Am I capable of reading ten books this fall? Absolutely I am. Will I read ten books this fall? Definitely not! But this is a top ten Tuesday and one does not simply just not participate in top ten Tuesday. I mean you don't have to participate, but I still want to be called a good person at the end of the day, so here I am doing a top ten Tuesday.

Here is the link for the Top Ten Tuesday page: http://www.thatartsyreadergirl.com/top-ten-tuesday/

#10 "The Servants of Twilight" by Dean Koontz

Reasons I want to read: Because it's Dean Koontz...duh. I know what I'm about. An interesting premise of mistaken identity genre, but taken to another level! Apparently, a cult is convinced a certain boy is the antichrist and therefore must be killed, so a woman decides to protect the boy, beginning an intense chase! I don't know about you all, but when I hear creepy cult, I AM SOLD!!!!!

#9 "The Whispering Room" by Dean Koontz (Second book in the Jane Hawk series)

Reasons for wanting to read: The first book was amazing! I will not be using that reason repeatedly for any other books in the series.

Amazon.com: The Whispering Room: A Jane Hawk Novel (9780345546807): Koontz, Dean: Books

#8 "The Crooked Staircase" by Dean Koontz (The third in the Jane Hawk series)

Reasons for wanting to read: The first book in the series is amazing.

Amazon.com: The Crooked Staircase: A Jane Hawk Novel (9780525483427): Koontz, Dean: Books

#7 "The Forbidden Door" by Dean Koontz (Fourth book in the Jane Hawk series)

Reasons for wanting to read: The first book book in the series is amazing! This will be last time I have that reason. Never shall I use it again.

Amazon.com: The Forbidden Door: A Jane Hawk Novel (9780525483700): Koontz, Dean: Books

#6 "Night Window" by Dean Koontz (Fifth and final book in Jane Hawk series)

Reasons for wanting to read: The first book in the series is spectacular! Slightly different that what I said last time. Synonyms coming in clutch. Completely different reason than before.

Amazon.com: The Night Window: A Jane Hawk Novel (9780525484707): Koontz, Dean: Books

#5 "The Moonstone" by Wilkie Collins

Reasons for wanting to read: Hah! You were foolishly thinking to yourself that every book on this list would be a Koontz book! Do I look narrow minded to you? I am better than that! I am absolutely certain that there will be no more Koontz books on this list. Definitely will not happen. I've already forgotten who the guy is.

It is supposed to be one of the original mystery novels. A lot of the tropes of mysteries were introduced in this book. That is plenty interesting enough to me.

#4 "The Bad Place" by Dean Koontz

Reasons for reading: While this looks suspiciously like the name Dean Koontz, I assure you it is not.

I heard it had a great twist. Also, that cover is super cool.

#3 "By the Light of the Moon"

Reasons why I want to read: Super cool cover. Super cool premise. Also, the name Dean Koontz sounds a strangely large amount like the name Dean Koontz so...READING!!!!

#2 "Mr. Murder" by Dean Koontz

Reasons I want to read: That amazing cover...and also the book is about a doppelganger of a protagonist hunting him down or something so I think that's pretty cool too I guess. This is definitely NOT Dean Koontz.

Mr. Murder by Dean Koontz: 9780425238035 | PenguinRandomHouse.com: Books

#1 "Cold Fire" by Dean Koontz

Reasons I want to read: I see creepy windmill on cover of book. I Read. Cause and effect. Nothing more to say...I guess I should say that this is clearly not Dean Koontz. Notice name reads Dean R. Koontz NOT Dean Koontz. Very different. Not remotely the same.
